Deeper Lots Change The Job
Squeeze between Fontana and Rialto and you would expect Bloomington to look like both of them. It does not. Parcels here are often deeper, with room behind the house that people actually use, for a shop, a trailer, a couple of animals, or all three. That means longer perimeter runs and gates that have to do real work.
On a long run, material choice drives the price more than anything else. Chain link covers ground cheaply and lasts if the posts and gauge are right. Ranch rail suits a parcel with animals. Solid wood or vinyl is what you want close to the house for privacy, and mixing them on one property is completely normal.

About Bloomington
Bloomington is an unincorporated community, which is part of its character. It sits between Fontana, Rialto and Colton without being any of them, and it has held onto a semi rural feel that the surrounding cities traded away years ago.
The area grew up in citrus and poultry, and you can still read that in the lot sizes and the outbuildings. Valley Boulevard runs through the middle of it, the rail line runs alongside, and the 10 freeway clips the southern edge.
Growth has pressed in from every direction, with warehouse development taking farmland on the margins, but the residential core still has the deeper parcels and the horse property that make fencing here a different job from the tract work next door.
